Blogs are a great source of information. Information that can really benefit you in many ways. When I first started blogging, as every blogger would, I too read a lot of blogs that I found informative, and my entire firefox toolbar was cluttered with feeds, and I deleted a few, making a mental note that I would subscribe them in my Google reader. Unfortunately I left one out, and that almost cost me:

• $100 worth of publicity.
• A few great backlinks from any blogs that I desired.
• Quality traffic.

Now, what am I talking about here? Well, the feed I missed out on was the feed from Search Engine Journal. On 3rd October they got into a deal with SponsoredReviews.com, which allowed anyone who entered a coupon code (SEJ100) provided by them, to get $100 credited to their SponsoredReviews advertisers account. Luckily I had also bookmarked them and was reading Search Engine related blogs and stumbled across this post. Now I am writing about this, as most of the readers of Digital-Musings.com are either bloggers or have websites, and they can make good use of this opportunity.

I have already registered and looking for the correct blogs where I would like to get a Review and in turn get some publicity and traffic. I would recommend you to do the same, as its almost like free money and the publicity never hurts!!
