Technorati’s State of the Blogosphere Report for 2008
Although since 2007, it has been said that Technorati isnt doing well and it is up for sale, they have held their ground. Dave Sifry, the CEO of Technorati had responded that Technorati isnt for sale and it seems he knew what he was talking about. Technorati has been doing okay so far, even though after the advent of Google Blog Search, they lost out on lot of major clients (WordPress now uses Google Blog Search instead of Technorati for tracking incoming links).
Sale or No Sale asides, Technorati is well known for the State of the Blogosphere Reports they publish every year. They have released it in 5 parts. You can read the entire report here. This is one of a kind report where we get a birds eye view about the blogosphere as they track blogs from 81 languages, 66 different countries and 7 different platforms.
